Tomorrow (Thursday) at Dalhousie Market
Inspired by Fritz Pastry in Chicago I decided to do different scone flavour every week. I usually do sweet and savoury ones  so this week it will be marzipan and apple for the sweet ones and cheese with fennel seeds for the savoury ones. I will also have whole-wheat multigrain sourdough, pain rustic and maybe, if I have time,  some cakes.

Thursday's Menu at Dalhousie Farmers Market
Poppy Seed Theme: I got some blue and white poppy seeds from my friends at Silk Road Spices so I am baking a sourdough with poppy seeds and Rustic bread with poppy seeds. Scone selection for tomorrow include marzipan and apple for the sweet scones and bacon and Canadian cheddar for the savory ones. There might be some poppy seeds there as well. See you tomorrow. Bread on Monday
I am back in Calgary and will do the bread delivery on Monday as usual. I am baking a Pain au Levain, the basic french sourdough, because I think this is the most fundamental bread and I like to start my “bread year” with the basic and build upon it. I posted a link (on the left column of this page)  with more information about the Monday Bread Deliveries. See you all soon.
