Tzavta Talks: Nicola Lagioia

by Sidewalk Citizen in Partnership with Wordfest

Nicola Lagioia’s Ferocity won the 2015 Strega Prize, Italy’s most prestigious literary award. A cinematic, suspenseful novel set in Southern Italy in the 1980’s, Ferocity has been described as a combination of Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl and Jonathan Franzen’s Freedom; as filtered through the Mediterranean vision of Elena Ferrante. This lively and unpretentious conversation with Lagioia is preceded by a three-course dinner specially created by the chefs at Sidewalk Citizen Bakery to honour the author’s passions and heritage. Seating is limited.
