CURATED CONVERSATION ABOUT ART AND SUBSTANCE
Join us for an intimate, lively talk, devoid of encouraging advice about life but filled with information, stories and an open discussion where one is free to ask and learn. The conversation is preceded by dinner create in honour of speakers and based on their inspiration, heritage or passion.
GOOD FOOD, GOOD PEOPLE
Since our venue is small we are limited to 35 people
Our May Salon hosts Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra’s Concertmaster and First Violinist Diana Cohen in conversation with Principal Timpanist Alexander Cohen and Double Bass player Matthew Heller, for conversation about classical music and being a front centre instrumentalist versus an accompanying musician.
To menu will feature Russian dishes with French and German influences as a homage to the great classical composers, in particular Tchaikovsky and Bach. Our guest musicians requested a menu featuring European cuisines expressing the cosmopolitan lifestyle of the time.
