CURATED CONVERSATION ABOUT ART AND SUBSTANCE

Tzavta” is  Sidewalk Citizen Bakery monthly cultural dinner salon hosting, curators, animators, writers, installers, artists and scientists – the people behind the scenes. The inspiration is (of course) bread: seemingly simple yet inherently complex requiring skill, diligence and dedication to make.

Join us for an intimate, lively talk, devoid of encouraging advice about life but filled with information, stories and an open discussion where one is free to ask and learn. The conversation is preceded by dinner create in honour of speakers and based on their inspiration, heritage or passion.

OCTOBER SALON

TALK EIGHT

In collaboration with the Fluid Festival, we are hosting renowned Flemish choreographer-dancer, Lisbeth Gruwez, for a conversation about creating a body language, a dance piece, and the inspiration behind it.  An original and unique voice in the world of contemporary dance, Lisbeth is performing in the Fluid Festival this year with her latest piece entitled: It’s going to get worse and worse and worse, where she dances the frenzy of that ecstatic speaking, drawing on extracts from a speech by the ultra-conservative American televangelist, Jimmy Swaggert.
