CURATED CONVERSATION ABOUT ART AND SUBSTANCE
“Tzavta” is Sidewalk Citizen Bakery monthly cultural dinner salon hosting, curators, animators, writers, installers, artists and scientists – the people behind the scenes. The inspiration is (of course) bread: seemingly simple yet inherently complex requiring skill, diligence and dedication to make.
Join us for an intimate, lively talk, devoid of encouraging advice about life but filled with information, stories and an open discussion where one is free to ask and learn. The conversation is preceded by dinner create in honour of speakers and based on their inspiration, heritage or passion.
GOOD FOOD, GOOD PEOPLE
We are adding another Tzvata in September as we have the privillage to host Sir. David Hare, the renowned British playwright and Oscar.
David is in Calgary for two days for the premiere of Wall, an animated feature film directed by animator Cam Christiansen based on his play. Moderated by Vanessa Porteous and with Cam in attendance the conversation will touch on issues of creating and writing political art and on the process of making the movie.
