CAM CHRISTIANSEN- Guest Speaker

Cam Christiansen has produced animated short films for Bravo!FACT and the National Film Board of Canada. His work has the distinction of being named twice as official selection to The Sundance Film Festival and selected twice as top ten Canadian short film Toronto International Film Festival. He also qualified for Academy award contention by winning the Best Animated Experimental Short at the Los Angeles Film Festival 2008. He is in the final stage of an epic 5 year production of "WALL" a NFB feature animated film about the separation barrier between Israel and Palestine.

WENDY TILBY & AMANDA FORBIS - Moderators

Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis are an animation duo based in Calgary, Alberta. Their short films When the Day Breaks and Wild Life have received numerous international awards including two Oscar nominations a Genie Award, the Palme D’Or at Cannes, and Grand Prix at Annecy, Zagreb and Hiroshima International Animation Festivals. Tilby’s previous work, Strings, earned many accolades including a Genie Award and an Oscar nomination.
